Cookie Policy.
This policy explains what cookies are, how hubStudio uses them on hubstudio.ai, and how you can control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
Last updated 18 May 2026What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device, a computer, tablet, or phone, when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to give the site owner information about how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, do comparable jobs, and this policy covers them too.
How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal. The cookies on hubstudio.ai fall into three categories.
Strictly necessary cookies
- Enable core functions such as page navigation, secure areas, and form submission
- Cannot be switched off through our site, because the site cannot work properly without them
Functional cookies
- Remember choices you make, such as your language or region
- Provide a more personalised experience without tracking you across other sites
Analytics cookies
- Help us understand how visitors use the site, which pages perform, and where to improve
- We use privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics rather than third-party services that are not reliably reachable from every market we serve
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session | Strictly necessary | Maintains your session and keeps the site secure | Session |
| Preferences | Functional | Remembers your language and region choice | 12 months |
| Analytics | Analytics | Records anonymous, aggregated usage so we can improve the site | 12 months |
Exact cookie names may vary as we update the site. This table describes their purpose and how long they last.
Marketing cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Third-party cookies
Some pages may embed content or tools from third parties, such as a video player or a map. When they do, those third parties may set their own cookies, which we do not control. We recommend reviewing the cookie and privacy policies of any third-party service whose content appears on our site.
Managing cookies
You are in control of cookies. Most browsers let you see what cookies are stored, delete them, and block some or all of them through the privacy or security settings. The Help section of your browser explains how.
Useful to know:
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working
- Settings apply per browser and per device, so you may need to repeat them
- Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode that limits how long cookies are kept
Legal framework
We handle personal data collected through cookies in line with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, and we honour the requirements of other data protection laws that apply to visitors from the markets we serve. More detail on how we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and our use of cookies change. The current version always sits on this page with its effective date.
